1. **Ingredients:**
- 1 kg pork belly
- 1 large onion, finely chopped

- 1-2 pcs bird's eye chili (siling labuyo), chopped (optional, for extra heat)

- 1 tbsp liver spread or liver pate (optional)
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp butter or margarine
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 lemon or calamansi, sliced into wedges for serving
- 2 pcs fried eggs (optional, for topping)
2. **Instructions:**
1. **Prepare the Pork:**
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the pork belly until tender, about 1 hour. Remove from water and let it cool.
- Once cooled, grill or broil the pork belly until the skin is crispy and the meat is slightly charred. Chop the pork into small cubes.
2. **Cook the Sisig:**
- In a large skillet, heat the cooking oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and garlic, and sauté until translucent.
- Add the chopped pork belly and cook for a few minutes until the edges are crispy.
