Crispy Baked wings

Here’s a simple recipe for Crispy Baked Chicken Wings:

Ingredients:

10-12 chicken wings (drumettes or flats)

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp baking powder (for crispiness)

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional for extra flavor)

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: Your favorite wing sauce (buffalo, BBQ, etc.)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place a wire rack on top of a baking sheet. This will allow air to circulate around the wings, making them crispier.

2. Prepare the wings:

Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture (this helps them get crispy).

Place the wings in a large bowl.

3. Season the wings:

Drizzle the wings with olive oil.

Sprinkle baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika (if using), salt, and pepper over the wings. Toss the wings until they are evenly coated with the seasoning.

4. Arrange on the rack:

Place the wings on the wire rack in a single layer, ensuring they aren’t touching each other. This allows for even cooking and crispiness.

5. Bake the wings:

Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

6. Optional: Toss in sauce:

If you want saucy wings, toss the baked wings in your favorite wing sauce (like buffalo or BBQ) immediately after they come out of the oven.

7. Serve:

Serve the wings with dipping sauces like ranch, blue cheese, or celery sticks.

Enjoy your crispy, baked chicken wings!
